The nationwide 2020 Census self-response rate as of Thursday, April 16, was 49.4%. In the past week, the U.S. rate increased by just over 2 points. By comparison, in the second week of response rate reporting (March 27 through April 2) the U.S. rate rose by an average of 1.5 points per day. See the analysis of the data attached below:
