Disinformation is false or misleading information intentionally designed to confuse and manipulate the public. There are reports of “bad actors” online attempting to scare communities of color, particularly immigrant communities, from participating in the 2020 Census.
Color of Change says:
“Has this happened to you? If you are hearing false information in your community about the 2020 census, report it here. We’re committed to helping Black folks get counted in the 2020 census, and would love to hear from you!”
