The United Way has launched a text to pledge campaign to increase participation in the 2020 Census. Through this campaign, they aim to invite more than 1 million individuals, particularly in hard-to-count communities, to pledge to be counted in the 2020 Census. The text line will distribute information and text reminders to participate in the Census, as well as address questions and misunderstandings about the census, particularly among historically hard-to-reach populations.
